The most memorable thing that ever happened to me in high school was when I was 14 the school had a special evening where parents came to watch everyone collecting certificates from exams. When it was my turn to go up I tripped over on my way to the stage in front of the whole year and all their parents, then when I got to the stage I went to shake the headteachers hand and dropped all the certificates ALL over the stage in front of everyone. I was SO embarrassed I will never forget it!!!

The most memorable thing that happened to me in High School was coming first in the 800 metres race on Sports Day. I was a pretty average student, and had never been very good at sport either, but on that day I was ‘in the zone’ and steamed ahead with gusto! I think that was the seed from which my present day love of running grew! :-)
