The latest Thomas Cook Holidays early booking extravaganza promises huge savings for holidays that depart in summer 2014 (package holiday companies define summer holidays as May, June, July, August, September and October).

What we like about this Thomas Cook deal on summer holidays 2014, is that there are a huge number of holidays discounted – that’s holidays from all their large number of UK departure airports to a whole host of sunshine destinations. Turkey, Greece Egypt and Spain are all included in the sale as well as some longhaul specials such as Florida, Mexico and Cuba and Dom Rep.

The cheapest package deal we found was to Corfu and that was a self catering offer in May. The cheapest all inclusive holidays were (as usual!) to Turkey. Looking at the longhaul deals, there isn’t such a large price difference between The Med and The Caribbean when looking at early booking  deals, and anyone that has been all inclusive in The Caribbean will tell you what a step -up it is in terms of what is on offer. Worth a thought.

    More Deals.org.uk Tips ….

    1) Shop Around – Don’t forget to look at the other big player in the market, Thomson, as well as the up and coming travel companies like Sunshine Holidays and easyJet Holidays.

    2) Look at the final price – Try to ignore the “savings” and before the discount prices, just look at the total cost of the booking and ask yourself if it represents good value for some quality time in the sunshine.

    3) But compare like with like – All Inclusive holidays are more popular than ever. It’s easy to see why, you get more control of the holiday travel budget with no nasty surprises. There is also the big convenience factor – especially for families with young kids. Before you book though, it’s important to know what’s included – and what isn’t.

    4) Money Saving Debate – Thought about a staycation? One of our members puts it like this. “A two grand fortnights holiday that stays on the shelf could be spent at home to the tune of 150 quid a day… Think how much fun you could have with that in the local area if you stayed at your own home“.
Nothing beats a change of environment when it comes to holidays though so if you are thinking of forgoing a foreign holiday but still want to get away, we’ve heard a lot of good things about Bluestone Wales, and with our Bluestone offer code you get the best available rate.
